I'm so glad you're here. I'd love to introduce myself.
I help women with chronic conditions overcome self-judgement and heal pain through mindfulness, self-compassion and anti-inflammatory lifestyle changes that support an inspired and vibrant life.

For several years I’ve been exploring how mindset, thought work, and practicing self-compassion creates a deeper and healing connection with your body and yourself. I want to share that with you.
I created my podcast, Positively Anti-Inflammatory, for people just like you who want to keep inflammation down and their spirits up! Each week I share my love, personal experience, and professional expertise in order to be of service to you on your healing journey.

When I’m not podcasting, writing my weekly bulletins, or working with clients, I can be found in my kitchen baking gluten/grain/dairy free treats (I find baking meditative and grounding), shopping at the farmers market (I'm all about eating locally and seasonally), and listening to music and podcasts.
I’ve lived in New York City since 2000, but grew up in Minnesota and I still consider myself a midwestern gal at heart.

I’m totally over the words “hustle” and “should.” I love the words “rest” and “open heart.”
I’ve been a professional burlesque performer since 2004.
​
For a number of years I toured the world full-time, performing and teaching burlesque throughout North America, Europe and Australia, at venues ranging from tiny dive bars to grand 19th century concert halls.​
Why I became a Functional Nutritional Therapist & Holistic Wellness Coach:
In 2017 I was certified as a Functional Nutritional Therapist. I came to this new career through my own healing journey.
​
In 2000, I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis, an autoimmune disease in which the immune system attacks healthy cells and joints in the body. This causes inflammation resulting in chronic pain, stiffness, fatigue, loss of mobility, and other health issues.
​
The medication I was on kept me in remission for a decade, but when the meds stopped working and the chronic pain and fatigue kicked into high gear, I knew I needed to make significant changes.
​
After years of experimenting and intentionally incorporating holistic heart-centered lifestyle, mindset, and nutrition practices, I've transformed my health and my life.
I have overcome mindset obstacles and turned my life around from living with chronic pain, fatigue, and overwhelm, to living a vibrant, optimistic life full of love, connection, joy, and gratitude.
