Do you say “yes” to yourself?

Do you follow the phases of the moon?

I have on and off for years, but especially the past few years I have found myself more connected to the lunar cycle and I practice new moon and full moon intention setting rituals at home.

We just had a new moon in Aries on April 11-12 and as you read this we are still in the energy of the new moon.

What I love about the energy of the new moon is that it’s a time to set intentions and welcome new beginnings.

It’s a time to cleanse your space, focus on nurturing and self-care, cleaning, organizing, releasing what no longer serves you, and creating healthy habits.

In essence, it’s a time to focus on You. To say Yes to you, your desires, wants, and dreams.

But some of us have a hard time saying yes to ourselves.

Many of us find it easier to say yes to other people and in fact, we might even feel guilty saying no to others.

Some of us might give up our time, energy, and plans for other people’s wants, needs, or requests.

Many of us say yes to everyone but ourselves.

Do you have a hard time saying yes to yourself?

Whether you do or not, I am encouraging you to consider your relationship with the word “yes.”

This is what I discuss in Episode 16 of my podcast, Positively Anti-Inflammatory, “How to Harness the Power & Magic of Yes.”

What’s your relationship to the word “yes”?

Do you say yes too often to people or things you do not want to do? Generating resentment, frustration, and exhaustion? Or do you consistently say yes to yourself for opportunities of growth, wellbeing, and adventure? Bringing about feelings of fulfillment, health, and joy? In this episode, I discuss the word “yes” and how you can learn to use its power and magic to improve your life and wellbeing.

Listen and subscribe to Positively Anti-Inflammatory wherever you find podcasts.
