You can’t always believe what you think

They say that affirmations help change persistent and self-sabotaging negative beliefs. And that if you repeat an affirmation often enough you’ll start to believe it.

That may or may not be the case.

You can’t force yourself to authentically say, “I love my body” if that’s literally the opposite of what you believe.

We all have both helpful and harmful thoughts swimming around in our heads.

Once you identify one detrimental thought that you continually think, and then ask yourself, what do I actually want to believe? Then the magic begins to happen.

In Nourish Till You Flourish: Revitalize Your Life!, my holistic wellness coaching program, designed to provide you a fresh opportunity to learn to nourish, support, and heal your body, one of the first things we focus on is your mindset, your thoughts, and your beliefs.

I help my Nourish Till You Flourish participants identify the one detrimental thought that has become a limiting belief, that blocks them from positive change they are seeking.

I encourage them to acknowledge that limiting thought, without judgement, and begin to release it.

To do this, I guide each student in creating their own personalized affirmation that is authentic, meaningful, and inspiring to them; an affirmation that they actually BELIEVE in their heart and body.

When they think it and say it, it brings purpose, meaning, and inspiration throughout the program and beyond.

It is powerful.

I would love to help you create your own personalized, authentic affirmation, one that you actually believe and one that actually shifts you at your core. An affirmation your heart, body, and soul need to hear.
