3 Things You Need To Do Before 2023

With the new year just days away, now’s the perfect time to connect and reflect on the past year. With this in mind, I'm recommending 3 things to do before 2023.

1. Create a list of 15 joyful things that happened this year
Often at the end of the year we focus on what we think went wrong or what we didn’t do. This is not helpful.
Instead let's focus on all the good things that you experienced this year.
Set aside 15 minutes to create a list of 15 things (big or small) that happened this year that brought you joy and thankfulness. Allow yourself to pause, appreciate and mindfully bask in those feelings.
2. Go for a walk without your phone
If you’re like me, you need a digital detox. A break from screens is critical. So get up, get out, and go for a walk without your phone. Feel the freedom.
3. Put on your favorite song and DANCE
Moving our body in ways that are simple and feel good to you is healing. Often we get stuck sitting all day at our computers and forget to move our body. So let’s take 3 minutes to get up and shake that booty. The song I’m choosing? Pump up the Jam by Technotronic. What song will get you moving?
